No Royal Fortune as Scoop6 Unclaimed on Saturday
The £149,491 Scoop6 win fund rolls over into next Saturday after punters were out of luck at Royal Ascot.
The bonus fund will begin next Saturday worth £331,705.
Scoop6 punters were immediately on the back foot after Space Travellers 25/1 success in the Jersey Stakes knocked out all but just 296 tickets in the opener. Defoe gave some respite to 87 players after the 11/4 fav won the Hardwicke Stakes as leg two and sixteen were left after Blue Point won the Diamond Jubilee at 6/4f.
However, none of those seventeen had chosen 11/1 winner Rebecca Rocks at Ayr in leg four.
Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said “Punters had plenty of winners go there way at Royal Ascot, but none of them could be put together in the Scoop6. We will look forward to pools of around £600,000 net weekend.â€
The place fund paid £68.40 and was won by 257 units.
We are probably unlikely to be playing the Scoop6 with the club until July, but we will update members ahead of any new one-dayer syndicate.
