Scoop6 Punters Fool-ed in the Dash at Catterick, but Super Pick6 could bring Sunday joy for Scoop6 SuperClub

Foolaad won the Catterick Dash yesterday afternoon and ended all hopes of a Champions Day Scoop6 success, but the Naas Super Pick6 looms large for Scoop6 SuperClub players today.

The 14/1 shot held off the fast finishing favourite Captain Colby to deny the remaining fourteen punters who had progressed to the fourth leg of the bet.

Earlier in the afternoon Sands Of Mali winning at 28/1 saw just 326 tickets survive the opener before wins for Magical (5/1) and Roaring Lion (2/1f) meant 14 units had passed the halfway stage and the rollover looked ominous.

The win fund will start next Saturday at £188,370 with the bonus fund bulging at £288,815.

Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said “It looked odds on that the Scoop6 would be won today to compliment the fantastic fare that was offered at Ascot. However, it proved not to be and we can welcome in the first meeting of the season at Cheltenham with a healthy Scoop6 prize fund of around £600k.”

The place fund paid £563.40 and was won by 39 tickets and Scoop6 SuperClub had a couple of those.

Meanwhile, today (Sunday) at Naas we go for the Super Pick6 and anticipate a pool in the region of 600,000 Euros, so well worth winning.
