Scoop6 bonus hunter aims to land over £200,000 at Ascot

The only punter to land last weekend’s totescoop6 will be targeting a further £222,929 when they aim to select the winner of the bonus race – the Cunard Handicap – at Ascot.

The player, who remains anonymous, won big last Saturday after selecting all six winners to land the £532,717 prize and will take their total Scoop6 haul past £750,000 if successful in tomorrow’s big race.

This weekend’s win fund builds from £73,924 and features action from Ascot, Haydock and Kempton.  All six races are live on ITV and the win pool is forecast to be worth around £125,000 ahead of the opening leg.

Betfred boss Fred Done is also dangling a £100,000 carrot if there is a single winner from one of the following qualifying channels – Betfred shops, betfred.com and mobile, totesport.com and mobile, or at the racecourse with totepool.

Totepool spokesman Andrew Griffiths said: “Our mystery winner is sitting pretty with £532,717 in the bank and a free go at more than £200,000 in the bonus race at Ascot.

Saturday’s totejackpot is made up of the opening six races at Haydock, while the 32Red Sprint Cup Stakes (2:45 Haydock) has been chosen as the totetrifecta rollover race.”
