Scoop6 winner on brink of banking £400,000 bonus

The only winner of last Saturday’s £209,439 totescoop6 could nearly triple their winnings if they can scoop the bonus fund by picking the winner of the JCB Handicap at York.

The anonymous player stands on the brink of collecting the whopping £407,958 bonus pot to take their total haul to £617,397.

The race in question is a competitive 18-runner contest over seven furlongs scheduled to go off at 2:20pm.

The Scoop6 itself starts again with a £25,802 carryover and the six races to concentrate on are divided between Musselburgh and York.  All six legs will be shown live on ITV4.

Any carryovers from this weekend’s betwill be played for on the opening day of Royal Ascot on Tuesday.  A totescoop6 will be in operation on every day of the meeting.

Totepool spokesman Andrew Griffiths said: “Our mystery punter did remarkably well last weekend as the only Scoop6 player to find all six winners.  On that form it would take a brave man to bet against them in the bonus race.”

The totejackpot is made up of the opening six races at York on Saturday and the Catherine Kinloch Paver Memorial Macmillan Charity Handicap (3:30 York) has been selected as the totetrifecta rollover race.
