Two Quid Punter Seeks £260,000 Scoop6 Bonus at Warwick

Two lucky winners of last week’s £36,925 Scoop6 win fund dividend will go in search of a further £261,302 Bonus in the 3.00pm Classic Chase at Warwick.

One of them a brilliant effort from a £2 stakes William Hill shop punter, who will bid to unearth the winner of the 14-runner handicap chase over 3m5f in order to land the spoils.

Tote spokesman Kevin O’Malley said: “What a fantastic opportunity this £2 punter has to win a huge amount of money on Saturday. The Classic Chase is a tough race but with just the fourteen going to post, both bonus hunters can feel quietly confident.”

O’Malley added: “It is worth noting that no favourite has won this race in the last ten years and the top three in the market also have a poor record of hitting the frame.”

Elsewhere on Saturday, Kempton Park hosts the Lanzarote Hurdle card, with the feature handicap set for post at 2.40pm (Leg 3). Leg 5 is Kempton’s 3.35pm, where the Paul Nicholls trained Touch Kick bids to leave a poor run at Aintree behind him under Harry Cobden.

The Scoop6 pool closes at 3.35pm back in Warwick with a demanding 3m1f handicap hurdle. This is a really open contest and stamina will be the order of affairs for those hoping to pass the judge in front.
