One Scoop6 winner goes for Bonus on Festival Trials Day

There was one winner of the £108,237.10 Scoop6 win fund on Saturday and next weekend they bid for a huge bonus of just under £300,000. There were 58 lucky winners of the place fund, each scooping £601.10.

Grand National runner-up Magic Of Light opened affairs with a commanding victory in Ascot’s 1.50pm, proving herself to be a class mare once again. Thomas Darby returned to form and defied top weight in the 2.25pm at the Berkshire venue and after that, just 358 tickets remained in the Scoop6 pool.

Another triumphant return to form came from Vintage Clouds in the 2.40pm (Leg 4) Peter Marsh Chase at Haydock. Sue Smith’s grey is deserving of this day in the sun and he was given a fantastic ride by the ever-reliable Danny Cook.

Ballyandy’s victory in the New One Unibet Hurdle at 3.15pm up in Haydock closed out the pool and secured the win fund for one lucky winner. An exciting card at Cheltenham for Festival Trials Day is made all the more interesting with a £300,000 Scoop6 Bonus up for grabs.
