BOTH win and bonus funds rolled today with combined pools of £500,000 expected next weekend.

Bonus pick Rather Be was brought down when still in with a chance of winning the BetVictor Gold Cup at Cheltenham this afternoon, and with it went the chance of last week’s Scoop6 winner to take the £356,476 bonus fund.

Victory in the race went to Baron Alco, who secured the passage of 360 tickets on the win fund through to leg three in this weekend’s win fund.

Just fourteen units remained by leg four but these were eclipsed when Encrypted won the Listed Golden Rose Stakes at Lingfield. The Scoop6 Superclub had two of those and our two were among the seven on the unplaced favourite. We did land two place lines and a cashback of 10 per cent on stakes took the return on the day to more than £2,000.

It means we roll onto the National Hunt seasons first Grade One race next weekend at Haydock with a £75,554 win fund and a burgeoning bonus fund of £368,009.
