Single Ticket Scoops £377,818 as Present Man Repeats Badger Triumph

Present Man and Bryony Frost landed back-to-back Badgers Ales Trophies this afternoon and in the process landed a single Scoop6 ticket holder the £377,818 win fund.

Just two tickets remained going into the final leg, one apiece on Paul Nicholls stablemates El Bandit and the victorious Present Man.

The successful punter will now have the chance to add the £356,476 bonus fund if they select the winner of a nominated race next Saturday. Meanwhile, Scoop6 SuperClub collected 24 place dividends for a return of £1,264.80 on the day.

It was a tough start for punters as 16/1 shot Company Asset landed the first leg but fancied horses came to the fore with Donjuan Triumphant (2/1f) and Lord Oberon (7/2f) landing favouritism either side of 11/2 winner War Sound. That left 24 tickets going into the November Handicap where Royal Line took the hopes of the two remaining players into the final leg at Wincanton.
