Tanasoq Tames Scoop6 Ticketholders

Tanasoq sprinted to victory at Thirsk this afternoon and in the process sent the Scoop6 rolling over for the third week on the trot and the potential for £1million in pay next Saturday.

The win fund now stands at £168,814 with the bonus fund holding a healthy £610,308.

Punters were on the back foot from the first leg after champion jockey Silvestre De Sousa drove 25/1 shot Never Back Down to victory leaving just 771 of the 62912 units still in the hunt. Communique took the second leg at 7/1 to leave 53 remaining before Yafta scored at Newmarket and whittled it down to twelve potential winners.

Tanasoq was not covered by any of the dozen who remained to send the Scoop6 soaring into the Bank Holiday weekend.

Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said “We have reached Millionaire maker time once again in the Scoop6 after another rollover. Punters were staring down a barrel after a surprise winner of the first leg but they can look forward to seven figure sums up for grabs next Saturday.”

The place fund paid £786.30 and was won by 28 tickets.
