NO REMARKABLE WIN FOR ANONYMOUS PUNTER
An anonymous punter will have to settle for £532,717 after failing to land the Scoop6 bonus.
A further £222,929 was up for grabs in the bonus race the 2.45 Ascot, but unfortunately their selection Squats was well down the field to the winner Remarkable.
Meanwhile the win fund rolled but it was heartache for a Betfred betting shop customer who was one of only two tickets remaining going into the last leg. They had selected Melting Dew who was a close second to 16/1 chance Duke of Bronte.
Totepool spokesman Mark Pearson said: “With both funds rolling we are looking at half a million pounds in the combined funds for St Leger day.”
Saturday’s turnover was £101,076 and there were 40 winners of the place fund which paid £442.20
