Five land Scoop6 after Higher Power’s Plate Victory

There were five winning tickets of the Scoop6 on Saturday following Higher Power’s win in the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle.

Each ticket is worth £24,970.70 plus the opportunity to take their winnings over £500,000 if successful in next weekends bonus race.

Tom Queally and James Fanshawe were taking a feature race on a Saturday for the second successive week following the Diamond Jubilee victory of the Tin Man seven days earlier.

Earlier on in the afternoon 514 tickets had successfully chosen Unbated (13/2) and Koropick (8/1) before a trio of winning favourites in Dance Diva (3/1f), London Prize (7/4f) and Defoe (5/2f) resulted in fifty-one tickets remaining in with a chance of the £124,854 win fund ahead of the Northumberland Plate.

Totepool Spokesman Matt Hulmes said “Congratulations to the five winning tickets of the Scoop6 who will now have a shot at claiming the £479,465 bonus fund if they can select the winner of a chosen race next Saturday.”

There were 660 winners of the place fund each winning £33.40.
