SCOOP6 ROLLS ONTO DAY ONE OF ROYAL ASCOT

Both the win and bonus fund rolled on Saturday meaning that the Scoop6 on Day One of Royal Ascot will have well over half a million pounds in the combined funds.

First to roll was the bonus fund which was the 2.20 from York, where one anonymous customer was chasing £407,958 and selected the unplaced favourite Get Knotted.

Punters chasing the win fund were on the back foot very early on and the bet rolled in Leg 4 when Arabian Hope won the 2.55 from York.

Totepool spokesman Mark Pearson said: “We’ll be operating the Scoop6 on every day of Royal Ascot and we’ll kick off with a decent fund to chase.”

Saturday’s turnover was £103,612 and the place fund was won by only 8 tickets and paid £2,266.50.
