Crapper makes final ticket come a cropper as Scoop6 rolls
Saturday’s Scoop6 rolled for the fifth successive week after Thomas Crapper impressively won the last leg.
There was just one remaining ticket but they had selected the Venetia William’s trained Vic De Touzaine, which finished second behind the easy winner.
Totepool spokesman Mark Pearson said: “ I was surprised the Scoop6 rolled however it’s not won next week we’ll have a big pot for Cheltenham.”
Totepool will be operating the Scoop6 every day of the Cheltenham Festival.
A total of £184,612 was bet into the pool and there were 191 winners of the place fund which paid £169.10.
