Twiston Shout for Scoop6 Bonus Hunters

The Scoop6 Bonus pot of £283,793 was won at Haydock this afternoon when the Nigel Twiston-Davies trained Bristol De Mai took the Peter Marsh Chase in impressive style to take the successful syndicates earnings for the last seven days to in excess of £725,000.

Totepool spokesman Matt Hulmes said “A huge congratulations must go the winning connections who have earned almost £3/4million pounds for seven straight winners in the Scoop6 including a win fund that had been elusive for the previous couple of months.”

In terms of this weekend’s bet Dadsintrouble continued Tim Vaughan’s good recent run of form by winning the finale and landing the £204,054 win fund for six ticket holders who each win £34,009 for an afternoons work, although one punter will be in clover for taking advantage of a bonus put up by Betfred boss Fred Done.

Early indications suggest one of the six winning tickets was placed in a Betfred shop and in the process this lucky punter has earned an extra £100,000 by triggering Fred’s bonus.

Hulmes said “After eight weeks of rollovers we’ve had two consecutive win funds landed and a huge congratulations must go to the Betfred shop punter who has won an extra £100k just for placing his Scoop6 bet with Fred”.

The first result of the afternoon in the Scoop6 saw 25/1 shot Deepsand score at Haydock and decimate the 129,338 players into just 2,403. However that was followed by favourable results when fancied runners Waiting Patiently, Pinzolo, Bristol De Mai and Ubaltique all scored to send eleven players still in with a hope of landing a windfall in the lucky last.

Saturday’s turnover reached £258,676 while there were 587 winning tickets in the  place fund each winning £77.10.
